Take Over Day July 2022 saw children taking on roles within the community as well as the usual roles within school. Children not only got to apply to be The Principal, Assistant Principal, Teachers, Admin assistant and Site Manager but also to work at Sainsbury’s, Manor House and to go litter picking. As aways, the standard of applications was high and the Take Over Day Team had a difficult job deciding who deserved each role after the interview process. There made some excellent choices though as many staff commented on how professional and prepared the children were to take on their roles. Mrs Link wrote this about Declan:
“Declan was outstanding in Mrs Link’s role as Speech and Language teaching assistant. He listened to the instructions prior to collecting the children. He then delivered the session perfectly, in this case Colourful Semantics with one of our nursery children. Later, Declan updated the children’s records to show what they achieved today. Well done Declan!”
