My name is Miss K, I am a new addition to the EYFS team. During my time, I have worked as a 1:1 with specific children and been a general teaching assistant across the whole of Early Years, both in Reception and Nursery. I really enjoy working with children, especially those with additional needs, I feel very strongly about supporting those who need extra help to ensure that they get the very best learning experience at Ryecroft. I am passionate about giving all children, regardless of background or additional needs the same opportunities as their peers. I pride myself on being approachable to parents and a friendly face on a morning. I really enjoy getting involved in children’s play, following their interests and building on what they already know to ensure they are always learning and can achieve their potential.
I am a mum of two children, a boy and girl. My daughter has a diagnosis of Autism and Type One diabetes, safe to say we have been kept on our toes for a number of years now. We enjoy trips to the seaside and having our Saturday night movie nights together.
