At the start of the summer term, we were again privileged the welcome another Team GB Athlete into Ryecroft Academy as part of our annual Athletes In Schools Day. This year, we welcomed Paralympic Athlete Antony Cotterill. Antony was able to lead our whole school assembly, hosted Q&A sessions with KS1, LKS2 and UKS2, delivered PE lessons to Wise Willows and Diligent Doves and also shared in a lunch with a selection of our pupil leaders and Mrs Townsley. A highly inspirational visit once again for our pupils and staff.
