As an academy we are always eager to communicate with parents and carers and hear your views. Your opinions are helpful to us and frequently influence and shape the actions we take.
Have your say, by answering a few questions, Parent View provides you with the opportunity to tell Ofsted what you think about Ryecroft Academy. Parent View will ask for your evaluation of 12 aspects of your child’s education from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. Ofsted will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.

“The school adapted to lockdown so well and quickly. I believe every member of staff truly cares about the achievement of each child and them reaching their full potential. The updated communications from school as it reopened in September and the reopening of afterschool clubs has been brilliant. During lockdown I was slightly worried about my children’s mental health. However, since returning to school they are fully back to normal and back in their “happy place”.”
Remote Learning Feedback
Throughout our time remote learning we have received feedback from parents about what is going well, it has been so lovely to hear such positive things said about the lessons, resources and support we have been providing for you since the school closure. It has also been really beneficial for us to hear about the aspects which have been more challenging for you whilst you are supporting your child at home. We have met as a team and looked into the feedback we have received and have outlined some of the changes we have made. We have been unable to make changes for everything and if this has been the case we have explained below our rationale behind why we do it this way.
