On Tuesday 21st of January, we had Nurse Helen, Mrs Broxholme’s sister come in to talk to us about her job. In class we had been learning about Doctors and Nurses from the book, Zog and the Flying Doctors by Julia Donaldson. Nurse Helen spoke to us about her role and how she helps people and how we can look after skin. She showed us how to wrap a bandage and then we had a practise with our friends. Next Nurse Helen brought in her stethoscopes for listening to peoples hearts, she showed us how to use it to listen to our own heart beat.
