This week Lower Key Stage 2 took part in a workshop learning about disability and difference. The aim of the workshop was to encourage children to think more imaginatively about the world we live in, and the diversity of the people within it. The children were able to get an insight into the life of the workshop presenters who were both born with Cerebral Palsy and use a speech synthesiser to speak. They had discussions surrounding differences within the group and learnt about the four main categories of disability.
