Our KS2 children enjoyed a careers afternoon on Monday. A variety of visitors with different job roles came into school and the children asked questions to try and work out which job each visitor had. The visitors then spent some time in each class talking further about their job role, qualifications and the skills it takes to succeed in the work place. Thank you to all the volunteers, who took time out of their busy lives to come into school and inspire our children to work hard and be the best they can be.
One volunteer commented:
“The children asked really good questions and were very articulate”
The child said:
“I enjoyed Usman talking about getting GCSEs and perseverance”
“I liked that we learnt about different jobs that we never knew about”
