In February, we welcomed DCI Jackson to our class to talk to us about his job in the police. At the time, we had been investigating a mysterious case of missing pens in class!
DCI Jackson helped us track down the culprit, arrested him, and returned our pens. It was very exciting to see how a real detective might solve a case.
He also shared what he enjoys most about his job and brought in some interesting items for us to see, including old police hats, a police jacket and a utility belt with handcuffs, a baton and spray. He explained how each of these items is used in his work.
We loved having the chance to hold the equipment and even try some of it on. It was a fantastic and memorable visit!
